The story unfolds in a werewolf tribe where Emric Damen, the eldest son of an esteemed alpha, is burdened with a significant destiny. Prophesied to be a powerful alpha and paired with Lhana by the goddess of the moon, their lives are bound by the expectations of the pack.

From a young age, Emric is acutely aware of his elevated status and the weight of responsibility that comes with it. The prophecy stating that he and Lhana will bring about great changes in the pack subjects them to strict rules and a forced closeness. However, as children, they view each other as nuisances due to the imposed regulations. They are made to study, train, and play together, which ironically distances them emotionally.

During their childhood, they stumble upon a treasure - hunting task assigned by the elders. Instead of finding the expected item, they discover a mysterious map that reveals the true expanse of their wolvendom, including the location of the forbidden wall. This discovery piques their curiosity and sets them on a path of exploration.

As they venture beyond the known boundaries, they encounter various challenges and strange phenomena. Lhana gets scratched, but she uses her healing power, a gift from the goddess of the moon, to recover. They come across a dilapidated bridge, and Lhana deliberately causes it to collapse, which leads to a heated discussion about their actions and the rules they are breaking.

Their journey further leads them to a large, previously unnoticed mountain called 'The Fabled Heights' and an area with a strange stone. Initially mistaken for a ritual stone, its unusual ornament placement raises suspicions. Around the stone, they encounter what seems to be Yeguang, a plant only known from history and rumored to be extremely dangerous. Emric realizes that the situation is perilous and that the stone might be the source of a powerful spell.

In a bid to protect themselves, Emric transforms into his wolf form and attacks the stone. Lhana, seeing his actions, also transforms. Just as Emric shatters the stone, a blinding light appears, and a voice demands to know who has dared to trespass on its grounds. The story ends on this cliffhanger, leaving the fate of Emric and Lhana hanging in the balance as they face an unknown and potentially dangerous entity in this uncharted territory.
